There's little more to say about this inspection camera. The shaft is flexible and covered in plastic, so it is really water proof. I've done some slight testing of this, because I really have no need for the water proofing. The handle houses 4 AA batteries that power the camera led and the wireless transmitter. There's a rotary "trigger" that lets you control the brightness of the leds near the camera. This is important to improve image quality.
The camera is mounted in the back of the handle. It allows the rotation of the image in 90 degree increments, which is useful. I've not done extensive testing of the wireless range of the camera, but it works up to a few feet.
The unit came in a plastic case with room for a shaft extension -- that I bought as well -- and the transformer. It also includes a cable that allows sending the video to an analog monitor or receiving composite video into the wireless monitor. I still don't know about battery life, but the charging time is pretty fast. I would say under 2 hours.
Also included where a set of attachements (a mirror, a hook and a magnet) that can be attached to the tip and can be used to recover small items or to inspect really hard to reach places. These accessories look particularly cheap and the attachment to the tip of the shaft seem fragile, however this is only my impression, as I've not tested them.
The camera and the shaft that comes included are pretty thin. They can go through 1/2" pipe with ease. However, don't expect to be able to push the camera beyond an elbow.
I'm happy with this unit because I bought it for ocasional use. If you're looking for a professional grade tool, this is not it.
