Received this kit, charged up the monitor and put batteries in the "gun" part. It worked really well while I tested it initially. The next day when I went to turn it on to use it, it wouldn't come on. Charged the monitor some more. It still wouldn't work. The next day I tried it again and it turned on! So I took it to my job site and turned it on and guess what... it won't turn on again. It has been doing this for 5 days in a row now. Seems like the monitor turns on whenever IT feels like it. I will be returning it.

The monitor has many features not found in similar products costing much more. The large rechargeable 3.5" display with video/snapshot recording capability to micro sd is nice, but detaching the monitor for wireless operation proves invaluable in hard to reach or cramped areas. This product offers outstanding performance for a wide range of applications, from sewer and plumbing inspection to automotive repair or finding the remote hidden in the family sofa - no home should be without one!

Functions well
I do wish that it would have a VERY near focus, like 1cm. I also had the LEDs die within 3 uses, but there was a prompt exchange of the unit.
