5.0 out of 5 stars A note on length . . .
For those wondering, as I did, whether this product is 5 or 15 feet long, I'm happy to confirm a length of 15 feet.

When I noticed the conflicting descriptions, I figured that given the price, the length had to be 15 feet (also, the end of the product ID includes "15," another good indicator of the actual length).

This very tough and...

3.0 out of 5 stars Protects the cords OK, but the 2 sided tape doesn't hold it down.
The 2-sided tape does not hold the protector to carpet so we had to lay a mat over the protector so it wouldn't slide out of place or get kicked out of place.

This very tough and well-designed strip can be cut for shorter spans (cutting, in fact, will quickly show you just how durable the material really is! It's hard to imagine that it will ever wear out). The inner groove comfortably handles a 15-foot heavy-duty electrical cord, and the design prevents weight from being transferred to the wire(s) within, just as it should. For a lightly trafficked space like mine, the protector sits so well on the tile floor at the edge of a rug that I need no tape to keep it in place. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wiremold corduct, February 5, 2010

The product was dispatched in a timely manner and was received in good order. The product comes in a roll and is 15 feet in length. It can be cut to length easily using a sharp knife or junior hacksaw and is held in place to a tiled or hard surface using a very thin (almost film like) double sided tape. When installed it is very robust and does not move. This is a very effective solution for cabling accross floors and works exactly as planned. It would not be suitable for cabling accross carpet. Only proviso is to ensure theat the 'cable tunnel' is big enough for the cable you want to install. Power cords are no problem and I installed a 10mm HDMI cable without an issue. GOod product does exactly what it was designed for.

Made from very good material, didn't stink (like some plastic stuff does), holds a big thick cord well, and stays in place. I use it on carpet next to my sliding glass door threshold, and have never had a problem.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not Flat, May 5, 2011

It has been 6 weeks and we are still waiting for this product to lose its curl and sit flat on the floor. We have four cables running through the molding, a very tight fit. The rug over it holds it down enough that the curl is not real noticeable, Perhaps this summer it will relax..

Like other reviewers, my only complaint is that it takes a lot of time for it to lose its curl. Let the protector relax flat for a full day before you try to tape it down or you'll spend weeks cursing edges as they roll up.

It is indeed 15ft long. As of 9 / 14 / 2010. I wish they would update the description in Tech details stating this but now everyone knows. It is indeed long enough for my job or bridging the gap between the Tv and my computer. Nice and heavy and with the tape I'm sure it'll do it's job. The only draw back is it's a tad more darker than the picture and looks like it will only hold 1 VGA cable, and maybe 2 Ethernet cables. But other than that great product.

the quality of the actual protector is great but the quality of the double sided tape that keeps it down it horrible. Since its wound in a coil, it has a tendency to curl up once you put it on the floor and when placed on carpet, the tape isn't strong enough to hold it down.

I have been shopping around quite a lot for these and found the best deal on amazon. Dont even think about getting these from the big office supply stores - what a rip off! Got these for a ridiculous price from amazon with free shipping and couldn't be happier.

Well, it works! We use it in our business for those wires that are always on the floor, ready to trip someone. It took less than 15 minutes to set up, I also cut it in half. The part that took the longest would be actually putting the wires and cords into the protector. Thanks for reading!
