Included for each lighthouse is its date of completion, construction details, and changes over the years. Wisconsin Lighthouses is enhanced for the reader with current visitor information, glossary, list of lighthouse agencies, and sources of further information that includes website addresses. Highly recommended for personal, school, and community library Wisconsin history collections, this 160 page documentary is illustrated with 80 superb color photos and 20 black & white illustrations, and a map.

We purchased this book directly from the authors during the 2005 Door County Lighthouse Walk. Barb and Ken really did a great job selecting photos and giving the right amount of historical background and current information for each of the lighthouses included. We fondly remember the friends we made and the lighthouses visited that year whenever we open the book.
