This product is only available a couple of times a year and it is absolutely worth waiting for!! It is delicious! At first you may think there is something wrong with it as it is very, very thick. But that is how it is made to be. You'll need a very sharp knife to cut it. But cut the portions very thin as this is a very rich product. A little bit goes a long way. I heat mine in the microwave for just about 20 seconds and then cover it with butter or margarine and just a little bit of jam or honey. It makes a whole breakfast in itself with tea or coffee. It is very "European" and is wonderful on a cold morning or for a late afternoon snack with hot chocolate or warm milk. I give one away to my Administrative Assistant every time I order it who has a 93 year old mother who is from Europe and she insists it is the best stollen she has ever eaten and is a true "European" product.This is the "real thing" folks! Buy 2!!! |
