“There can't really be any doubt about the cricket book of the year, any year: it's obviously Wisden.” ―Andrew Baker, Daily Telegraph
“A model example of an organization that has met the 21st century head-on, without losing an awareness of how its reputation was made in the first place...The joy of Wisden is in the sustained brilliance of the writing, which pound for pound, is unsurpassed in any sport in any year you care to mention. and it is a beautiful production, too, the photograph on the cover, once a controversial change, seamlessly incorporated, contributing to a small masterpiece of design and editing.” ―The Times (of London)

Top Customer Reviews
Wisden is the principal reference book of cricket. It's published annually and contains scorecards of every major game played throughout the world and accounts of the most important. It has a comprehensive records section and articles by and about leading figures in the cricket world. It's as indispensable to a cricket-lover as a recipe book is to a cook.
I'm not expecting many converts to the game over here. However, with an influx of new Americans from cricket-playing countries, we might see some growth in its popularity. They, like me, will be referring to their Wisden frequently.
I would like to see a return to the earlier version where more emphasis was placed on the big test series with more photos if possible, a full coverage of the county games, with emphasis on up and coming players and all the signifant averages and records. Your editors could produce short biographies of the outstanding players of the year and a World Team. You could call the volume, 'Wisden Highlights'.
For all the club, high school, district leagues, etc, I propose an additional publication but if that is not possible then carry on with present version.
All success in the future, whatever direction you may take.
Sincerely, John Westley, California, USA.
