It delivers on sweet, but the after taste is very bitter. I have yet to find the perfect stevia sweetener - something that can compete with the clean sweetness delivered by aspartame, but I have heard good things about Truvia and will try it next. Some of the research I've done indicates that one should look for stevia with high levels of Rebaudioside A, which has the least bitterness of all the sweet compounds in the stevia plant.

weaned off of splenda,
I wanted to wean myself off of splenda and read about this in a health mag. it was so easy to make the switch. i use it to sweeten fruit, my coffee and tea, and even on my hold/cold cereal. it tastes so good and i like that the added inulin helps improve the effectiveness of my probiotic.
