5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely Book
The photographs alone would make this book worthwhile for an artist. The text alone
would make this book "good" for the rest of us. Together, the words and pictures make
a lovely lovely book. I bought the smaller version for my son.

Unless wisdom brings incoherence with it, Andrew Zuckerman -- or, more specifically, his copy editor -- has done a disservice to the people interviewed in this cute little book. Far too many profiles have either a typo or a mis-transcription that makes the interviewee's thoughts difficult to grasp or strangely unwise. It also seems, from the lineup of just this book, that Zuckerman's idea of wisdom seems to be confined to English-speaking white people who have lost their eyelashes. Nice concept, great packaging, poor follow-through. Smug, actually.
