It is one of the best book on every aspect of knowledge. There are 14 excerpts of his talks ranging from Love, RElationships, Death and RE-incarnation to lives of Jesus and Buddha. All the talks are dripping with knowledge and as a Sadhak ( a spiritual seeker ) it is a must read. No book I have read talks about wisdom in a such a simple and lucid fashion. TWO THUMBS UP !

Spirituality has long been mistaken for other-worldliness. In this book, Sri Sri Ravishankar makes it very practical and very accessible to people who aren't necessarily interested in the mystical. Spirituality, as he says is about being happy, at peace and at ease with everyone around oneself. Clearly, being happy takes some work and making some choices. Making those choices requires some common sense. This book is a plain and simple text that lays out precisely that common sense. Unlike many texts in the genre, this books is written in the spirit of sharing by an equal. It's not a father figure preaching from high ground. It's more like a friend, a companion, an equal sharing the product of deep thought and life experiences. The book clearly works and happens to be something one can go to in moments of restlessness, anger or anxiety to find the sanity that's the objective of all spiritual practice. I now realize that this very authenticity is what makes Sri Sri's books so simple and so effective. A must read.

This book is absolutely incredible. Everytime you read it, there is something new that comes up and life blossems more and more with every turning page. It's simply written so that people of all ages can relate to it. Sri Sri knows exactly what we need in life and what we are searching for. He has touched my heart and removed the dust from my eyes with this book. It's touching and inspiring. Saints like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar don't just write books on wisdom, love, or compassion. They are living expamples and I have given this book to many friends as gifts and they all absolutely love it. The knowledge is applicable to everyday living and shed the light on every topic that we are disturbed by. Enjoy!...

This book is a masterpiece. It is filled with profound truths. I read a one chapter a day in the morning hours when my mind is alert and sharp. It is important to read this book slowly and in silence, preferably after prayer or meditation. A reader who reads this book casually will miss out on many beautiful truths that are enunciated by the author. Sri Sri speaks from a deep well of personal experience. Dive deep into this book and enjoy it!!

This book answers the question of Life, The Universe and Everything and more. It goes in depth about many aspects of spirituality which are often misunderstood. It gives light on such topics as relationships, New Age, Love, Healing, Karma, Reincarnation, Jesus, Buddha, Death, Ego, meditation... I found the chapter entitled "Human Values in the Classroom" very timely for our society. It is something that every teacher, and thereby our children, would benefit from reading. I hope more people read this book and uplift the conciousness on our planet.

Very profound yet so simple ... The book was like simple informal homely conversation abt diff aspects of life .. I sincerely feel everybody should get a chance to read this book.. Reading this book was very uplifting & revealing to me .. I can easily say it was the best book I have ever read !!!!!!!!!!!

One of my best reads ever!!! In "Wisdom for...", His Holiness has brought the essence of the entire Vedic wisdom and made it applicable to today's life. It dissolves all the apparent discrepancies between spiritual path and material life! A spiritual classic of modern times by one of the greatest Masters of all times!

It is truly a book of Wisdom for this Millennium, in the sense that it translates ancient wisdom for practical application in today's world. The material is a collection of Sri Sri's best knowledge. It has so much depth, yet it is easy to understand. It is also holistic and covers the topic from all angles. I found myself awakening to what is written rather than reading it as an intellectual understanding. Each time I read it, it's fresh and I understand it from a different angle and can relate this to real life situations at that time. I like it so much that I have gifted several copies to friends and family!

This is the first Sri Sri's book one should read. What I liked is that this book covers wide variety of topics from Problem in this age, Fear, Love, Relationship, Buddha, Jesus to Medidation. There is more that is covered and but, I wanted to write a quick review. The message in profound and pratical and it'll help in our day-to-day life. It's a feel-good/self-help book and it will help you bring positive thinking deep inside, not just superficial.
