I have been a fan of Dan Millman since the mid 1990s when I first read The Way of the Peaceful Warrior. So, when I received these cards I was pretty excited.

This is an absolutely beautiful deck. The 52 cards are divided into 4 groups - and each group has a different picture on the back of the card (all the pictures seem to be taken at some beautiful beach with a rocky coastline) - One is a stack of stones - one is a stone pathway leading out into the water of a quite cove - one is rippled sand in the water at twilight - one is a rocky shore.

And the cards are on a nice thick card stock, but they do smudge very easily (though they seem to wipe clean easily too) - so make sure your hands are completely clean before you use them. They scratch fairly easily too... I accidentally scraped my fingernail across one when pulling it out of the deck.

And the quotes are the very best of the best.

"The path of personal evolution isn't showy; there are no glowing signs to identify an evolved being. Awakened people often behave in quiet, ordinary ways."

The box the deck comes in is nice and sturdy, and the top flips up to hold a card in a frame so that your favorite card of the day can be displayed.

I love this deck. And though I already own many of these types of decks, Dan Millman's stands out above the rest, with quotes that are original and relevant, and coming from the standpoint of someone who's been there and learned rather than sounding like much of the over-intellectualized spiritual affirmations that are passed around over and over again now-a-days.

I would highly recommend this deck to anyone who follows a spiritual path - whether at the beginning or advanced level. The quotes speak about living our lives in integrity and truth in ways that most any of us could relate to.

Sometimes a kind word, or a gently shared bit of wisdom is all we need to get our day onto the right track. Dan Millman's "Wisdom of the Peaceful Warrior" deck does that for me.

It works wonderfully with this wisdom deck of cards arrangement. It sits in front of me in my work place and always has some new insight to offer. I think that all the cards in there have some very profound idea expressed. I would totally recommend it as a table-piece for people who really want to surround themselves with positive influences.

These are beautiful cards, each with a great message. The messages are short and thought provoking; a great inspirational way to start the day. They would make a great gift also.
