I've been homeschooling for 4 years now and English has always been a struggle for my son and I.I started out with The Writing Road To Reading (bought the complete teaching set from Spalding) and though it was an EXCELLENT program, it was overwhelming for me, thus overwhelming for my son. I looked high and low for a program similar to WRTR so that I can build upon what we had already learned. I found it in this book (and in Spell to Write and Read that is part of the same program). Our lessons are are so much more effective. Son has already moved up half a grade in spelling in just 2 months! He's finally at grade level and we couldn't be happier! |
