About the Author

Kate McAnaney lives with her husband, Patrick, and two sons, Mahlon and Michael, in Carmel Valley, California. She holds a degree in Human Development and has been helping families of children with a disability and those at risk for many years in her work as a social worker, writer and educator. She has written numerous articles for magazines and newsletters. I WISH... is my gift to the families whose lives are similar to mine. I want to offer encouragement to them and promote emotional healing so they can enhjoty being an exceptional family.
