I am a musicologist by trade, and when I heard this disc my jaw dropped to the floor!!! These five young men seamlessly integrate virtually every important genre of American music into a rich tapestry that is both interesting and unique.

If you buy one album this month; heck, this year, buy this one. You will not regret a single moment on this 13 song masterpiece!!!

There isn't a bad song on this cd. Just when I think I heard it all, I haven't. I got this cd a month ago and can't stop playing it. It is the current king of the hill in my cd player. A great mix of bluesy, folksy and everything in between, but very contemporary. This is certainly a breath of fresh air.

If you're reading these reviews, please listen to the samples and check out their website. The Rounder's sound is a great mix of styles. Some similarity to a mix of Cream and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Every song is catchy and upbeat. I only hope they build on this great CD and get some well deserved air play.
