Harold Rome was not only an extremely gifted composer but my cousin. One of my fondest childhood memories was attending a huge Family gathering in Connecticut. We had just moved there from California and suddenly were in now in a room full of family members that I had never met. I was going into the sixth grade and felt really disconnected until my Aunt, Harold's mother sat down at the piano and with so much love and pride began to play my cousins music. Needless to say it became a magical evening for me and I have always treasured his music. Years later we went to see Julius Larosa play the lead in Wish You Were Here. I am not really surprised to have found this on Amazon because of your selection but am very Grateful.

What a treat, if you ever saw the play! This took me back to Broadway in the 50's and gave me a chance to hear Jack Cassidy's wonderful voice again.
