Natalie Imbruglia is an Australian singer-songwriter, model and actress born in 1975 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

She rose to prominence aged 16 as a result of her role in the Australian soap Neighbours. She moved to London when she left the soap but within a year she had no work permit and mounting debts.
