5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this album., January 19, 2007

When i first heard this album i was unsure what to think,

but if you've been following dose's work for a while you know this is nothing new.

it sounds like subtle more than anything.

i bit different from "new white"

this album seems to be a bit faster and a bit louder.

still everything flows together beautifully like you'd expect from dose.

a few songs are actually remixes from the first subtle album.

personally i prefer the originals to the remixes,

"new white" seems to have a more mellow feeling throughout the album while "wishing bone" seems more dramatic and crazy.

regardless this album is still amazing,

i love dose and everything he does.

I will definitely add this one to my collection.

if you tend to like louder, faster music you'll love this album.

i would compare this album with "the mercury craze" or "for hero: for fool"

more than with the original subtle album.

either way their new style is here to stay.

The dvd that is included with this cd is absolutely amazing.

it is 3 "music videos", if you can even call them that.

The videos are all black and white. they were created using drawings, animated models, cut-up film and 3D computer graphics.

they are very original and fit nicely with the music.

its obvious they spent hundreds of hours putting these videos together.

they're very weird and truly impossible to describe.

F.K.O. is my favorite video, in the beginning of this "music video" a house is floating in the air then you see inside the house;

2 puppets are playing checkers.

one is dressed like a doctor and has scissors for hands, while the other is dressed like what appears to be a business man with human hands.

they take turns levitating the checkers and spining them in circles without touching them.

the next thing you see is a checkers board on a white backround and a tree grows out of it.

then giant schools of fish start swimming around the tree, causing some leaves to fall.

when the leaves land on the ground they suddenly evolve into little creatures with big teeth and smiles, they also have large ears but no eyes.\one has what appears to be zebra style stripping on one arm.

then you follow this creature around trhought the forest then an amusment park.

i wont give it all away, but ill just say they are truly unique and artistic.

purchase this album for the dvd if nothing else.

The third video won best music video at the British Animation Awards 2006.

it is all incredible and beautiful.

i would recomemend this album to any dose one/ subtle fan, and graphic artist, any artist in general, or anyone who wants to see/hear something truly original.

3.0 out of 5 stars My favorite bands worse album, August 30, 2008

If you are buying this, let it be known that I would expect you to be a complete-ist collector. Most likely you are interested in the guests, namely Beck and Mike Patton. Patton turns in a song dominated by noise/ambiance/experimentation and NO Peeping Tom style beats or anything like that. In addition to this, the Beck song is the same one featured on Beck's Guerolito, but it is a good song if you don't have that album. All in all the best part of this product is the DVD, which is certainly not to be overloked, because despite the fact that it only has a tiny handful of videos, they are quite developed and amazing in their own right. This is not a bad album, but I expect a lot from my favorite group. I prefer A New White or Yell&Ice...or better yet: 13&God.
