I read this series by chance and must say, I'm looking forward to Anya Bast's next book. I love the elemental aspect of her books. It's a twist on the witchcraft angle and I must say a great take off what I find interesting in life. The characters are wonderful and the chemistry leaves nothing wanting.

Witch Fury,
This review is from: Witch Fury (Elemental Witches, Book 4) (Mass Market Paperback)
Sarafina Connell is not having a great day. First she is burying the woman she thinks of as her mother and she had to take time off, empty out her bank account to pay for the services and now needs to hurry home so she can make rent payment arrangements. But the day is going to take another turn to the nasty side when she is kidnapped by one of the worst warlocks around. What would he want with someone like her?
Theo Winters and others from the coven are breaking into the warlocks compound to rescue the witches being held against their will. When Theo reaches the room with the head warlock, he is meeting with a female witch with lots of attitude. Theo knows Stephen never meets with the witches, so she must not be one of the good guys and has no pity or friendship for her. Sarafina can't believe that she has had yet another turn of bad luck. These witches that saved her don't believe she was kidnapped. The tide has to turn in her favor soon. While waiting, Sarafina is kept in Theo's quarters, too bad he turns her on so much. Once the truth is discovered and Theo knows beyond a doubt that Sarafina is a good guy, he discovers that danger is still shadowing her as the warlocks are not going to give up and someone even worse wants her. Theo and Sarafina have just discovered their passion is a shared one. When a plan is worked out to finally defeat Stephen and the warlocks, will Theo be able to deal with it or is this going to be another block between him and Sarafina. A fire witch who doesn't have a clue can make things get hot fast. Witch Fury finally tells Theo's happy ending. I was hoping that he would get one. Theo has trouble believing in Sarafina's innocence because she was found with Stephen. Sarafina is being given a crash course on how to become a witch, whether she wants to find out or not. The friction between Theo and Sarafina was immediate even if it wasn't the passionate or friendly type to begin with, but then again she is a fire witch. I just knew Sarafina was the perfect match to Theo just because she was so feisty and would not back down - rather like him. While I'm sorry that we have reached the end of the elements, Ms. Bast saved the best for last. The final battle had me on the edge of my seat wondering who would come out on the other side. Stephen's defeat and judgment were perfect for such a nasty man. I cheered as I read it. Witch Fury is spicy and funny sometimes even together with enough danger to peak your survivor instinct. The Elemental Witches is a keeper series that I plan on pulling out over and over again. Lastly while gathering information for this review, I discovered a free e-book on Ms. Bast's site. It is a short story with Micah's resolution called Micah's Magick. Of course I promptly downloaded it and read it and was delighted to see yet another favorite witch get his happy ending. However I must stress that you need to wait and read it after you have finished Witch Fury as there are many spoilers in it if you haven't. Jo Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

I love the Elemental Witch series by Anya Bast. The male characters are respectful, loving and strong. There is just enough romance/erotica to make it a great romantic escape, but not to the point of being dirty. I highly recommend this fictional series if you love the paranormal and steamy fictional romance!

excellent finish to a strong saga,
This review is from: Witch Fury (Elemental Witches, Book 4) (Mass Market Paperback)
After watching the woman attend the funeral of her foster mother, Duskoff International CEO Stefan Faucheux kidnaps the grieving Sarafina Connell and her dog Gossett. He insists she is a fire witch; she laughs at him thinking a madman has abducted her. However, his assertion has her thinking back to when her insane biological mom died in a fire.
A coven led by earth witch Theo Winters storms Faucheaux's compound. They take Sarafina with them as their prisoner. Theo and his cohorts assume she is in cahoots with the vile CEO. Sarafina informs her hosts that her former host had Bai an Atrika demon with him. The coven panics because Bai should never have been able to cross the barrier between the mortal and demon realms while also wondering why they are interested in Sarafina. Theo knows deep in his gut why he is interested in Sarafina besides her connection to Faucheux though he denies it even to himself. The final Elemental Witches urban romantic fantasy (see WITCH HEART, WITCH FIRE, and WITCH BLOOD) is an excellent finish to a strong saga. The story line is action packed from just after Sarafina buries her foster mother and never slows down as the major strings (mostly paranormal) from the previous three tales are tied up nicely. Though newcomers would be better off starting with the previous novels to better understand the overarching plot that WITCH FURY closes, Anya Bast is at her best with the final Elemental Witch thriller. Good, but not great.,

I enjoyed the continuation of the ongoing story line from the first three books more so than the relationship between the two main characters. I liked the heroine, but the hero was a bit annoying at times.

I am a fan of Anya Bast's books and Witch Fury does not disappoint, this was to me the best out of the four Elementail witch books.
This story is about Sarafina and Theo. Sarafine is kidnapped by Duskoff International's head guy Stefan. She is shown the world of magic and told of Stefan's plans to have absolute power. She wants no part of it and fears she may not have a choice. Meanwhile the Coven plans a raid on Duskoff and asks Theo to help. There he finds Sarafina, who he mistakes for a warlock and takes back to the Coven headquarters to question. Soon he finds out that she was abducted and the memory of his own abduction by Duskoff comes flooding back. Sarafina informs Theo that she was awakened by a witch with red eyes, but that's not a witch it's a demon who seems to have taken a liking to Sarafina and will stop at nothing to get her. Theo must now protect Sarafina from the demon, as well as fight with the coven to stop Stefan once and for all. The coven and the Duskoff will never be the same. I finished this book in one evening. I thought the ending tied together the series well, but it did feel a little rushed at the end. Other books in the series: Witch Fire Witch Blood Witch Heart

This book is about Sarafina as much as it is about Theo.
In this, the 4th and final book of the Elemental Witch series, we find that our Author, Anya Bast, has brought an equally worthy and devastating end to this wonderful series. Alliances will be made and for some of our most loved people, life will never be the same.

Solid Four Stars...Way To Go ---Anya Bast!,

This review is from: Witch Fury (Elemental Witches, Book 4) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the first series I have read that featured witches. I decided to pick it based on a free bookmark I received advertising this book. The books are in this order Witch Fire (Elemental Witches, Book 1), Witch Blood (Elemental Witches, Book 2), Witch Heart (Elemental Witches, Book 3), and Witch Fury (Elemental Witches, Book 4). These books are for adults. The sexual tension is intense, and the scenes are very descriptive.
Sarafina Connell, a fire witch, was have a rough week; she has less than $100 in her checking account, her boyfriend - Alex - dumped her, and she just buried her foster mother - Rosemary. She never imagined things could get worse but, then she was kidnapped my Stefan Faucheux, a fire witch, and Bradley, the UPS guy from her work. Apparently they want her to join the Duskoff Cabal. A short time later she is rescued by the Coven and she meets Theodosius "Theo" Winters, an earth witch. This book was a great follow up to Witch Heart (Elemental Witches, Book 3) - the other dimension stuff in 3 was a little hard to follow. This book brought everything full circle and returned to the free flowing writing that you expect from Anya Bast. I don't know if there are going to be anymore in this series but, I sure hope so. ~~ An excerpt from Wicked Enchantment, a new series, is found at the end of this book ~~ On the author's website: www[dot]anyabast[dot]com/free-reads/ there is a free eBook called Micah Magick that is a follow-up story for the Elemental Witches series. There is also 2 other free eBooks "Fury" and "Tranquility" - I haven't read any of these yet, but they are next on the list.

Good Ending, but hoped for more,

This was a good ending to this series, but a little bit of a let down. It seemed in each installment the heroines, progressively, got more powerful, but not in this book. I did like that it sort of wrapped up the stories of some previous characters. I would recommend this book to finish off the series.
