I'm a fairly new fan of Witchblade and as such, still coming to grips with the epic scale and complexity of the series, but I'm loving it. The best thing about the whole series is that it is an adult series. Sara Pezzini and all the other bearers of the Witchblade are all mature, intelligent, tough and sexually alluring women. The bearers are not squeaky clean super heroes in the old fashioned sense and they are certainly not adverse to using their feminine wiles to get their way. The stories in Distinctions are an excellent background and supplement to the main thread of Witchblade. Artwork and design is excellent in all the stories and the book is well bound.

If you enjoy historcal based comics, this is a great comic for you. The story lines are all interesting and the comics are well drawn. I like that the stories span different cultures and different time periods, not going in a striaght line of time, but going in order. I espeaiclly like the vistion of the future, and if you are interested int he back ground of the witchblade and how that affects sarah, this is a great book to read. Highly recamended.

Whether you are a fan of the comic, the book series, or the television series, you will enjoy this one. It is based on the comic book and, therefore, is made as such.

The Witchblade and its owner(s) are just as tough as ever!
