5.0 out of 5 stars Great story, February 11, 2009

This review is from: Witchblade, Vol. 3 (DVD)
Great story. Its a bit cheesy in a lot of parts and the rolling and spinning legs while the characters get started running reminds you of the old Flintstone cartoons.... But I enjoyed the whole story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Witchblade continues to expose the darker areas of life, May 1, 2008
This review is from: Witchblade, Vol. 3 (DVD)
If you picked up parts one and two then this disc will flow naturally into what you have already picked up.
Masane learns darker information as the story progresses Here the idea that she has been fighting machines is wiped clean as she finds the X-Cons are really made from the dead bodies of human beings. Doji Industries admit the darkest secrets as it explains that this is done with the consent of the families from which the bodies are bought. In the end Masane decides to look past the darkness of this to the huge paycheck that will allow her to ultimately prepare a better life for her daughter, Rihoko.
We also begin to learn of the past of Reina as she decides where she will take her stand. Also introduced is the soulless character of Masayo Wado. To say that this Director of the Biotechnology Division of Doji Industries is cold hearted would be an understatement. He only will get worse as the series progresses.
A further glimpse is given of Father/ Tatsuoki Furumizu who is the chairman of the NSWF an founder of the Child Welfare Agency. This is one character that wields huge amounts of power. At his side at all times is the neo-gene Nora. Nora is a character to watch.
If you have enjoyed parts one and two I can only recommend this as a solid continuation of the first two parts.
