Most Helpful Customer Reviews

11 of 12 people found the following review helpful By R. F. Benson on March 27, 2008
Format: Paperback
"Yorkshire" is among a very few books written by individuals who have devoted their lives to the Craft -- some before many of us were even born! It is a book written looking back at history and folktale. It is not a how-to book, but a tome to show us what witchcraft was truly all about before it was modernized and fed through any number of filters.

The original 1973 edition is extremely hard to locate -- and often out of range when it comes to price, but be of good cheer. The book has been re-printed by Harvest Shadows in a *numbered* anniversary facsimile edition in the USA, preserving the look and appeal of the original. It has been available at booksellers and distributors in the USA and the UK since August 2008 with a new anniversary cover in metallic copper and black.
