This legendary book is back in print! Hurray! Those of us who knew this book in previous incarnations are SO GLAD. Now we can replace our falling apart copies, and send it as presents to kindred spirits. Tightly written there is no padding in this book. Its all very useful and so well written that I've often gotten involved in reading it even when I had already found what I was looking for, or I wasn't sick at all. Only herbal I ever read cover to cover. Potts' book reflects how her practice is solidly based in a political analysis that is uniquely saavy, compassionate, realistic and wise, and has stood the test of decades. She stresses using herbs that are versatile, effective, cheap and easy to get. New design, still accessibly priced $15.00 plus $1.50 shipping per copy - ask at your local women's bookstore or herbal supply house. Her book on goats was a good read too. And I've heard from other goat keepers that it is the best this side of the Atlantic. Still out of print, apparently.
