When I ordered this book, I thought, WOW!, I've been looking for a good, well-researched book about the Devil's Grandmother, Wife, and Daughter. This book is not that. It reminds me much more of anti-feminist texts written by women on 'evil in fairy tales' and such that I read in the early 70s. The essays are poorly conceived. If you think this might be like a text by James Hillman, forget it, or a text by Jack Zipes, forget it. We still need a book with this title, but with a much improved text. If you're looking for this sort of thing, I'd suggest you read Clarissa Pinkola Estes instead.
