A really long romance novel with a twist, I suppose. The female protagonist is a doctor, and she saves an architect from drowning. They then realise they have a thing.The Talamasca is also involved, and so is a spirt named Lasher. The sordid history of the Mayfair witch family is revealed. The spirit, wanting to be corporeal again, tricks Rowan Mayfair, and installs itself in her unborn child, forcing his rebirth. |
