5.0 out of 5 stars Join me for a drink???
Of all books that have recipes for "wiccan" beverages, this is the ULTIMATE guide. The recipes are set up so even the most novice of beverage makers can get right to it. There are recipes for all tastes-with or without "spirits" hot, cold, the list goes on. I want to try almost all of them!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I had in mind
The brewing instructions in this book were rudimentary at best, and the use of raw eggs in many of the drinks is questionable. Overall, I found that the book focussed far too much on recipes for sodapop, herbal teas, fruit-juices and Starbucks-like coffee recipes. The larger portion of the recipes in this books are Mz. Telesco's own concoctons. I was expecting more recipes for traditional drinks such as ale, mead, wine, etc... but, the recipes that they did give contained very brief, simplistic brewing instructions that had me a bit worried. This book was a bit dissappointing, really. If you like fanciful, sweet drinks and are not concerned with their religious and historical authenticity, then by all means, buy this book. Otherwise, save your money and get The Alaskan Bootlegger's Bible, a far more accurate and thorough guide.

This was my frist book about brewing. It was a wonderful read and an even greater kitchen companion. I love the simple recipies given in the first part of the book so that when you find a recipie with in the pages you are instructioned to death with the retellign of the basic steps. I would recomend this for any one who enjoys making and loving there own stuff. This is a great way to get in touch with the energies put into the beverages used for cerimonies also. wine was wine until I made it my self.

It's amazing to see how many different beverages have had spiritual applications in history, and how many ingredients in even modern beverages have magickal applications. I can drink my magickal energy any time I wish now... great fun and good magick
