Actually two volumes in one, The Witches' Bible provides extensive research into the modern practice of Wicca. Often drawing on the well-known expertise of pioneers in folklore and witchcraft. It is an absolute necessity for any serious enthusiast. Extensive background is offered, not only in ritual, but the origins and meaning of the acts. Thankfully, "money spells" and other tripe is left out of this in depth work. Whether, you are involved in active group, a solitary, or simply in search of accurate, concise information- The Witches' Bible is one of the few worthwhile works available. Enjoy

I'm not really into British Traditional Wicca but I learned a lot about Wicca by reading and studying this book. Really in deepth older coven type rights and instructions.

No book is going to cover all traditions. Hey the truth is anything dealing with witch stuff is really new. The Catholic Church made up the name witch. You will not find the word witch anywhere in the Bible unless someone added it during the 13th Century. Ya all those so called witches that they burned were just midwives and herbal medicine people or very rich widows the church wanted to steal from. The witch stuff really started in the 20th Century, so everything in here is new or what they could put together from the last two hundred years. That is o.k. It is a new religion and very few people including witches and wiccans understand that. This book gives a good review of what is being done right now. And it does a good job at it. Of course you are not going to agree with everything in it and you do not have to. Learn from it and read other stuff so you can put together your own fantastic religion.
