The Witches Master Grimoire,
By A Customer
This review is from: Witch's Master Grimoire (Paperback)
Lady Sabrina has done it again! Her usual charm & style shine brightly in her latest offering to the Wiccan community. The Witches Master Grimoire is set up in alphabetical order, and has many uses! Think of it as a referance book. Do you have a question on, say, what is a mirror box? Simply go to the letter 'M' in the book. There you will not only find out what a mirror box is, but why they are used and how to make one! Whether you are a seasoned Witch or new to the craft, this book will be a welcome, and very useful addition to your Magickal library. Brightest Blessings to Lady Sabrina for the service she has done for the Wiccan community.

"The Witch's Master Grimoire- Of Love Binding Spells",
By Dawn (Morganza, MD United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Witch's Master Grimoire (Paperback)
I was rather disappointed after reading this book and I had to force myself to read it through. It would suit the book better for the title to be "Love spells and a Bit more". I was sorry to see that almost every page of this book had a "Love Binding" spell on it, Or something along the lines of "Spells to make (force) someone fall in love with you", Love Potions, Bind a Love to you, ex... It did have some insightful information in it but only a small amount compared to the "Love Binding Spells, Formulas, and Rites. This book was "The Witch's Master Grimoire- Of Love Binding Spells" Im sorry I spent my money on it.

Something's missing....,
By A Customer
This review is from: Witch's Master Grimoire (Paperback)
This is an okay book. However, I found it lacking, for example there was nothing on Protection, something almost every basic Witch-y book has. Everything in here is categorized by alpha and only the most basic things seem to have made the cut: under P is Pentacle, Planets, Poppet and Potions, and that's it, other sections were just as scanty I thought. I personally didn't agree with her correspondence charts, so didn't find much of use in here once I had read it, just sort of ho-hum, and it's been on the shelf ever since. A few of the spells and things caught my eye, but nothing else made it worth keeping. It would probably be good for someone in the beginner stages who doesn't have much of this reference material already, since it's not overwhelming or deep, seems to be nicely written, and is eye pleasing with illustrations.A couple books in this genre that come to mind that were more comprehensive and better met my needs were the Wicca Handbook by Eileen Holland and Sally Dubat's Natural Magic. I'd say borrow this one and/or make sure you look at it first in person before buying to make sure it's what you want/need and isn't redundant to what you already have as in my case.

thumbs up,

Despite the few bad reviews on this book, I actually quite like this book. I love that the book is like an encyclopedia of information. True, this book doesn't give any information on rituals and circlecasting before spells, but I think this book's purpose is that of a handbook. This book would be a good companion to a beginner's handbook, like Scott Cunningham's Wicca book.

Yes, it's lacking in a ton of information, but it's laid out in an easy-access, alphabetical manor, and does contain a nice handful of spells. It also contains a little bit of information on a lot of things, and would be a good book to turn to when looking to get into a certain subject, and need a place to start. It's a very easy read, and a useful reference encyclopedia.

I am a beginner in the craft and I found this book helpful in getting started. True there are many books that go into greater detail in certain areas but like someone already pointed out it is good to have on hand

The Witches Master Grimoire was more of a dictionary on Witchcraft, with a large amount of love and binding spells. Not at all what I had expected, and nothing of any real worth. The sections on herbs was adequate, as was its information on incense and candles - but its nothing that a reader would not find in any of dozen other books that would have vast amounts of more useful information on other topics as well. I was disappointed in the book and would not recommend it.

A reasonable beginner book,

This review is from: Witch's Master Grimoire (Paperback)
This is a reasonably good book for beginners. It sets down some basics such as runes and little snippets of info about brooms, athames, runes, planets, zodiac info, spirit animals, and the basic principles of spellcasting, etc.
It's in a cute little encyclopedia format (alphabetical), which makes looking things up pretty easy. It doesn't go into as much depth as I would have expected, but as a pocket reference book, it's fairly decent. I break it out every time I need it for checking runes, because the information is quick, nicely summarized, and easy to find. If you're looking for something that is very in depth, this isn't the book for you. If you would like a handy reference for simple things, then this is an excellent little guide.

Witch's Master Grimoire,
By "mika_moondancer" (Ridgecrest, CA USA) - See all my reviews

Though the book is wonderfully planned and laid out, I could only give 4 stars as the book seemed to be lacking in information. It felt as if it was set up for a begenner. Don't get me wrong, it is a wonderful book and I plan on keeping it in my own library for refrence and for my daughter, when she's old enough, however I fear it may not be the first book that comes to mind when I have a question. All the same, thank you, Lady Sabrina, for your efforts and your acomplishments. Brightest blessings.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Witch's Master Grimoire (Paperback)
"The Witch's Master Grimoire" by Lady Sabrina is a VERY good book for me, since I am a witch. Lady Sabrina tells the history of what is in the Grimoire, and fits in many good spells. The recipes are also good. I rate this book 5 stars, because it's the best Witchcraft book out there!
