5.0 out of 5 stars Trust, July 28, 2000
A Kid's Review
This book teaches you that sometimes it is good to trust and have faith. Even though you and me know you won't go to a witches castle and you have to trust her but let's just say. Pike did reveal something about the witches past(that she had a daughter.) It was funny in a lot of ways but I think the funniest things were involving that troll and how he wanted to be in the navy(was it Belfart?).It was okay but buying it? Not really worth that much.

4.0 out of 5 stars A cool adventure., March 5, 2001
By A Customer
A nice adventure story filled with suspense. At this rate, Pike is the best children's book seller. I agree with [whoever] said the witch's background should be revealed to us, but anyway i adore the witch more than anyone else and she is one of the reasons i buy Spooksville-to know more about her. I took away a star coz i didnt feel the book was very scary.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ann is the most fascinating witch, June 30, 1998
By A Customer
This was a good book...i really like Ann Templeton and i wish that Pike would write more on who Ann is and her background...i usually read Pike's young adult and adult novels, but he's been lagging on his books so much that i've been relegated to reading other writer's books and reading Pike's stories which are meant for my little cousin to read...whatever age group recommended, pike still projects his remarkable talent...for young adults, adults, and children readers...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Series, May 9, 2003
By A Customer
I love all twenty-four novels in Christopher Pike's Spooksville Series. This particular novel is pretty cool. In this we learn more about Ann Templeton (the witch) and get a better idea of what she is like. Though the stories are for a younger audience than his other young adult books, they still have the same great voice and the humor is deliciously Pike.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool!, February 20, 2005
When Adam and his friends go inside Ann Tewmpleton's castle, they are trapped in a maze. Then, they see two huge, powerful creatures. Are these creatures bad?. Maybe these creatures can kill one of Adam's friend. Forgot to tell you something, When they entered one room, they found 4 necklace. Sally wore the Immortality necklase, Cindy wore the beautiful necklace, Adam wore the oldest necklace. I cannot remember what Watch wore.
