Steve Chapman follows up his "A Look at LIfe from a Deer Stand" with a fine pocket devotional that can be a part of every person's hunting experience. Each one can be read in several minutes and provide hours of meditative fodder for the quiet, still hours one often spends on a Deer Stand. I recommend it. Great gift for fellow hunters, too. Not preachy. Very practical.

Sometimes on the cheezy side but still a good read. I hoped the stories would be a little more in depth for deer hunting but a few of them really hit home and are poignant.

Steve Chapman writes about his passions (Jesus Christ and hunting) and shares with his readers insights from his life they can relate to in their lives. The next time you are out a in the quite of deer stand take in the Creator's work all around you and simply Praise Him.

This is a really nice devotional...especially for hunters. Steve does a nice job of pulling together his hunting experiences and his personal relationship with God. Plus it is small enough to throw in a pocket...or backpack and read while sitting in the woods.
