When She Said I Do

"Bradley puts her unique touch on Beauty and the Beast when a devil’s bargain flings an innocent into a demon’s den. Brimming with her signature depth of emotion, delightful characters, and perfect pacing, this sexy love story tugs on the heartstrings and makes you smile."—RT Book Reviews (Top Pick!)

And Then Comes Marriage

"I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series. They will definitely be on my auto-buy list."—Night Owl Romance 5 Stars!

About the Author

CELESTE BRADLEY is the New York Times bestselling author of the Runaway Brides, Heiress Brides, Liar’s Club, and Royal Four series. Her novel Fallen was nominated for a RITA in 2002. "When you are overendowed with imagination and underendowed with punctuality, become a writer." Years of dreaming on the job paid off when Celeste Bradley quit the mainstream in 1999 and started writing historical romance. "Handsome heroes beat out cranky customers every time!" Bradley lives in New Mexico with her family, her desert garden and so many pets the house sometimes feels like an ark.

More About the Author

Hi, my name is Celeste Bradley and I write "brain chocolate." That is, I write fun and sexy escapism is for hardworking women everywhere. We deserve a little man-candy, too!

Reviewers like to say I write about misfit heroines getting the man of their dreams. Maybe that's true, but don't we all feel like misfits sometimes? Even if the rest of the world thinks we have all our balls in the air, aren't we juggling like mad on the inside, desperately trying not to drop one?

I'm the kind of woman who never truly has a clean house (not all at once!), who can't seem to have Christmas projects finished by Dec 25, who is stunned by how fast weeds can take over a perfectly well-behaved garden, who is mystified by high-altitude baking rules, who doesn't quite get the kids to the dentist appointment on time...well, you get the picture. Rather than having all my ducklings in a row, I just try to make sure none of the rotten little rebels are playing in the middle of the street!

I love this manic, scattered life I lead. I love to write, craft, garden, bake and mother, even if I don't always do it all perfectly. I love living in the Southwest, with its big sky and vast desert views. I love venturing out of my quiet life to meet readers and other writers, and then I love to come back to my haven, full of ideas and renewed passion and creativity.

Maybe one of those times I'll meet you!

Hugs,
and thanks for reading!

Celeste

With this Ring, the third novel in the Wicked Worthington Series by Celeste Bradley, finds the family down on their luck after the loss of the family estate to a fire. Nineteen year old Elektra Worthington, the middle daughter, feels that it is her responsibility to return the family to social and economic prominence by marrying into money.
In preparation for her coming out season in London Society, Elektra has used her considerable manipulative talents to secure invitations to all of the finest events and acquire an appropriate wardrobe. All that’s left is to choose an appropriate target.
“Here’s a juicy tidbit from your very own Voice of Society,” began the gossip column in the local daily news. “Now returning triumphantly from a wealth- building sojourn in the Bahamas, Lord Aaron Arbogast, who will soon assume the title of the Earl of Arbodean, has a secret motive – he has, in fact, come home to find himself a proper English countess!”
Lord Aaron Arbogast. She wrote his name on her list of possible conquests, underlining it, not once, but twice. In the delightful comedy of errors that follows, the unsuspecting Lord Aaron, who has secrets of his own, even finds himself the victim of a kidnapping in Elektra’s desperate campaign to get his attention. Or does he???
I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a quick, sometimes quirky story that has several humorous twists and turns. While having read the first two Worthington books would definitely be a plus, you can certainly enjoy With this Ring as a stand-alone delight.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This was a cute story. I have a soft spot for stories that have the Hero and Heroine fighting against each other. Having an off the wall family doesn't hurt either. Aaron was banished to the Bahamas to protect people he loved. Elektra belongs to a crazy family. Their Manor House burnt to the ground and she feels she has to marry a Duke so she can rebuild it. Aaron's man is ailing so he trades places with him when he meets Elektra. They both feel the sparks. From there it is all about fighting their feelings for each other. This is a good light hearted read. I chuckled my way through this read. Please read and enjoy this book!

I like the way Celeste Bradley writes, her characters are a bit flawed wish to me makes it better, who wants to read a story of perfect people? not me it would give me a complex. I do have to say that I like her previous books a bit more. "With this ring" is the third book in a series of the Worthington's, an eccentric family with a lot of siblings Elektra the heroine is a Worthington and she feels she has to save her very selfish and supposedly loving family enter Aaron the hero who is coming back to London after a 10 year exile. They both have their own goals to be able to achieve their HEA and they don't mesh, but there is instant attraction and that's where all the fun begins. Both Elektra and Aaron are very likable if misunderstood people that seem to think they have to make amends for others failings. The reason I gave it only a 3 1/2 is that for some reason I had a hard time in the beginning of engaging myself with the story, I'm embarrassed to say that once I start a book I finish it in less than 2 days ( I use the text to speech in my kindle) it took me much longer this time. It might be that I don't understand or particularly like her family, I think they are very selfish, specially the parents, there are supposed reasons for it but I don't get it. Don't get me wrong it's not bad, but it's not great, and the ending is just to vague, there are to many loose ends I know it's a continuing series but still, I like a little more HEA in my HEA

I struggled between giving Celeste Bradley's story between a 3 and 4 star rating, so I split the difference and opted for 3.5 stars. This tale has some really nice scenes, charmingly funny, romantic, and slightly off kilter in a good way. And it also has some plodding scenes between characters which take away from the story, and characters who need a bigger part and characters who are supposed to be appealing but come off as unlikable.

The heroine of this tale is Elekrta aka Ellie. She a member of a notoriously unconventional family of society misfits. Her mom and dad are dreamers, her brothers are self-absorbed, and her sister is just too precocious. Her one brother Zander, a soldier battling PTSD was the most interesting sibling but he has a very nominal role in this story. She also has a cousin Bliss and she is the catalyst that begins Elektra's adventure. Elektra is waiting for Bliss to arrive at an Inn and there she spies Lord Aaron Arbogast, a very potential husband. Elektra has been on a husband hunt her whole life. She has meticulously strategized how to land a nobleman who will be rich enough to restore her family's burned down estate and give her family the respectability she thinks they deserve and want from the ton.

Aaron has his own reputation to overcome. Banished by his grandfather for a scandal a decade earlier, he hopes his exemplary living in the Bahamas will provide the proper amount of redemption to allow his grandfather to welcome him back to England. His plans fall apart when he is kidnapped by Ellie. To keep her off guard and to protect his own interests he pretends to be his manservant Mr. Henry Hastings.

What begins as a kidnapping becomes so much more.
