5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic follow-up!
I was very curious whether Natalie could create another fantastic album and she did not disappoint! This album is a little more upbeat than the previous, but is still relaxing and great to listen to. If you enjoyed her last album, definitely purchase this one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does not compare to Daughter Darling or Urban Angel
Although there are a couple tracks to be excited about, all in all this album is a departure of what has made her such an interesting substantive singer/ songwriter. 3.0 out of 5 stars Does not compare to Daughter Darling or Urban Angel, October 26, 2008

Although there are a couple tracks to be excited about, all in all this album is a departure of what has made her such an interesting substantive singer/ songwriter. She seems to have abandoned her deep thoughtful lyrics for something more mainstream and disposable. I won't be too critical as she still has a mesmerizing voice and her songs on this album still do offer some rythmicly soothing qualities. However, if you are looking for the degree of emotion seen in previous albums you will likely be disappointed in some fashion.

I would give 3.5 stars if we could rate in those terms.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely spellbinding!-This world is a better place with you Natalie, August 25, 2008
This review is from: With You (Dig) (Audio CD)
Natalie's songs have always been AMAZING. She creates very smart lyrics and delivers them with her powerfully unique voice. I have been a fan since she was in Daughter Darling, and although I knew her sound would be different after she went solo, it is by NO means less brilliant. 'With You' & 'Urban Angel' stand wonderfully as the main attraction to any female vocals collection. This album is a great listen from start to finish, and honestly you will want to search out her other works as well. Along with 'With You' and 'Urban Angel' definitly check out Daughter Darling 'Sweet Shadows' and the colaborations she did with Dive Index on the songs 'Between Sky and Sea' & 'The World is Kind'. Natalie, you have an extordinary talent..please continue to make such inspiring and beautiful music!

4.0 out of 5 stars Just buy it!, January 28, 2012

For some reason, I had been wishy washy about buying this album. I had already purchased "Urban Angel" and her album under another name of "Daughter Darling", and they are both favorites. Finally, I made myself buy this one, and...... It is my go-to album to listen to on the drive home from work! I love, love ,love this album!

Between her voice and the contagious beats, I cannot believe I waited so long to purchase. If you are hesitant, just...buy....it!! You will not regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you loved her first CD? This one will grow on you!, April 7, 2011
This review is from: With You (Dig) (Audio CD)
Ok, I heard of her by way of TV. She did a cover of Counting Crows Colorblind. I found out she had a CD called Urban Angel and I bought it. Originally, I thought it was alright then it hit me. I was blown away one day and it's one of my favorite CDs since 2000. Now this new CD With You, I heard the samples on Amazon and it does not give "With You" any justice. It took me 6 Months to get this CD and I bought it on the pretense that I will love it. All I have to say is that it's better than the first one. I play this one every night on the ride home. It's really chill music. Natalie Walker's music just makes you forget all of your problems.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not nearly as good as "Urban Angel", August 26, 2009
This review is from: With You (Dig) (Audio CD)
If you're new to Natalie Walker, do yourself a favor and buy "Urban Angel" instead. Just about every track on there is worth listening to. This album, however, only has 2-3 songs I bother to keep on my Shuffle. You might be better off buying them on iTunes. The two I really like are "Lost My Shadow" and "Ordinary." "Over and Under" and "With You" are ok, but I liked them better live - they fall a bit flat on the cd.

3.0 out of 5 stars A solid effort, but fails to showcase Natalie's talent, July 12, 2009
This review is from: With You (Dig) (Audio CD)
Allow me to preface my review by saying I'm a huge Natalie Walker fan. That said, her sophomore solo album is a solid effort, but I found it leaving much to be desired (perhaps because she set the bar so high for me with "Urban Angel" and her Daughter Darling performances). This album does not showcase Natalie's strengths as a singer or songwriter. "With You" is predominantly an upbeat, pop fare with commercialized synth beats and easy lyrics and melodies ... much like Imogen Heaps' works, but without the same efficacy. Perhaps her change in style is simply a reflection of a change in her personal life (if she found new happiness, I'm happy for her :-D). But I hope Natalie can find her old form with her next album, because when she excels a la "Urban Angel," I get excited about few artists more than Ms. Walker.

I own this album, as well as her previous album, Urban Angel. They are both great! I will continue to buy this great chill-out/down-tempo artist's stuff.

Natalie Walker has such a smooth voice. I often just put it on while cooking dinner or doing anything. It is great for background music, or to just blare it out.
