Kimberly Caldwell struck a chord with millions as a finalist on season two of American Idol with her gutsy vocals, passionate performances, and earthy charisma. On her debut album Without Regret, she wields that same full-throttle belt to maximum effect on a series of emotionally resonant, pop-inflected rock songs, several of which she co-wrote. There are buoyant, propulsive rockers (female empowerment anthem "Going Going Gone" and first single "Mess of You"), the fiery and powerful ("Cost of Love" written by Diane Warren and "Heart Like Mine" co-written by American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and Nickelback's Chad Kroeger), as well as soaring, graceful love songs ("Say Love" co-written by Caldwell and the soulful "If You're Gonna Fall"). After waiting years for Kimberly Caldwell's debut album, I have to say it was worth the wait. This version was released for like three weeks and then pulled. It's showing as being reissued in April 2011 with a new cover and some different tracks. I downloaded this album from a website and have been listening to it constantly. I still don't understand why it took so long. Kimberly's vocals are absolutely amazing, and the songs are awesome. Two tracks are penned by the great Diane Warren, one track co-written with Kara DioGuardi and this version includes a cover of Melissa Etheridge's 'You Can Sleep While I Drive'. I will still buy the re-release just because Kimberly is amazing! If you get the chance, pick this album up or download it. It's worth more than you'll pay for it.

I have been a HUGE fan of Kimberly Caldwell since American Idol and let me tell you I think this album screams her name. Every song on the album is AMAZING. I personally would say the Hotter Without You is the best song on the album and if you are on the fence about receiving this album jump over and buy it! It will blow you away to hear how good her vocals are. I believe that Kimberly Caldwell will have a grammy win with this album and you will see her enter into the mainstream faster than you might have expected!

she has amazing voice!! she was my favorite from the American Idol season 2! and i have been waiting for years for her album to come out. it is soo worth the wait.. this album is just amazing so many great songs!
