The dealer wanted $47.95 parts and $22.50 labor to install this in my 2010 Rav4. It took me 3 minutes to install before I went to work this morning.

Very happy with this air filter. Fits nicely on my 09 Corolla. Price was much less than at Dealer's. Could not find it locally Pepboys or Walmart. Now I get more cabin air and its very fresh!

I have a 07 RAV4. The dealer charged me $70 to change this the first time. I know, what a dummy. :( Figure it can't be that hard to change a cabin filter and $70 is outrageous! This time around, talked to a friend, did search on the web and found videos of how to do it. The instruction is also in the owner's manual. If I can do it on the RAV4, anyone can. <-- I only pump gas and put air in tires when it comes to doing anything with my car so far. This is my first DIY project (thanks to the dealer for 'pushing me' to look into these DIY) and it took me less than 10 min to do it and saved $$$$.
The filter fits like the one dealer put in and it is actually sturdier. Amazon doesn't have much description on this filter so want to add it for those who want more info on this filter to do comparison with other filters. According to Wix's website, they don't use baking soda and carbon (like Fram Fresh Breeze and costs a lot more), they add something called Bioshield 75 (biostatic surface protectant). [...] (supposedly an EPA approved patented product that does more than absorbing the odor), so I thought I would give this a try. So far so good.
