I was hesitant to order this online bc I couldn't see it, but after reading the measurements (39" tall & 22" waist) and that it fits 2-4 yrs old, and after looking at the product picture and a reviewers picture, I decided it would be a safe bet. When I pulled it out of the box, I could not believe how small it was. I double checked the tag and it's confusing bc it says "2-4T" but underneath it says "for ages 1-2". It was ordered for my daughter's 3rd birthday party for her wizard of oz theme, it thankfully JUST fits but is extremely short. She is about 37 - 38 inches so there is no way it would fit up to a 39" girl. The quality is ok and she loves it, but the sizing is confusing. I don't know if I would've been better ordering the next size up, but the girl in the picture for that looks much older than my daughter.

My six year old daughter would have been heart broken if she couldn't have been Dorothy this Halloween that is the only reason the costume was not sent back. I know these things are produced as quickly as possible, but the company the costume came from should really pay attention to quality control. If anyone (who cared) had checked the costume before packaging, they should have tossed it and sent another. I will not order from them again. With all the sewing I had to do to repair the costume, I could have started from scratch. VERY disappointed.

This dress was very cute, however it was poorly made. The straps were sown on all twisted and so we had to try and stitch them at the shoulders so they would seem straight. The shoulders at the seam were coming apart after only one hour of wear. Seveal of the seams at the arms and skirts were unraveling before putting on and had to be re-sewn. I had to put a lot of work into fixing the dress so she could wear it and at the price I paid should not have had too.

My daughters costume tore when she first tried it on, we sewed it and halfway thru trick-or-treating the hemline was torn and hanging down to her knee.

My Daughter loved this costume. It is really adorable. She would wear it everyday if we let her. I actually had to hide it from her. The only complaint is that the crinoline slip is very itchy and gets snagged on the velcro closure in the back and the velcro closures should have been a zipper or buttons - it also scratched the back of my daughter's neck since the collar sits so high. They should have also not put sequins in the inside part of the collar - very scratchy for soft two year old necks. But overall, a great buy. Fast delivery from Ruby's Costumes/Amazon as well - I think I got it the next day, even with free super saver shipping! The little sparkly ribbons it came with were a nice touch also. My daugher absolutely loved being Dorothy this year for Halloween.

This was a Christmas present for my 4 yr old niece who loves the Wizard of Oz. It fit her wonderfully and she looked great. I got a size small. She's kind of tall for her age so I was worried it would be too small but it wasn't.

This dress was the cutest one I could find on line and in stores. The attached lace slip is not very soft. My daughter only likes soft fabric so I had to cut out the slip and buy new lace to sew on the bottom of the dress to get the same look. The fabric for the dress itself is very soft. The color of the hairbow does not match very well, but it seems to be the only one available with all of the Dorothy costumes I have seen in stores.

I ordered the "deluxe" Dorothy Costume, size Small. The sizing chart says 4-6, so I figured my tall five year old would get one year of use out of it.

The costume just arrived.... and I literally laughed out loud when I pulled it out of the packaging. It looks so different than the picture and description. The quality is actually hysterical. If you turn the dress inside out, it looks like a drunk person was given a serger. The hem is uneven, the skirt underneath has holes in it, the neckline has an unfinished blue gingham collar instead of the white mock collar pictured.... AND the BOW! The bow is blue with gray insulation backing and is HALF-FINISHED ON THE EDGES WITH WHITE STITCHING only part of the way down the sides of the bow!

I tried it on my daughter and the fit was terrible. Not only is it very short, despite the waist falling at her natural waist, but the straps are not even finished off on the side facing the body to lay flat.

This costume is a disgrace and it's right back today.

This costume is super cute and fairly well made. The only thing im not happy with is that the sparkles on the apron are shedding off, which is pretty messy. Otherwise, its adorable.

I ordered this for my 4 year old granddaughter , since she loves to watch Wizard of Oz so much and dress like Dorthy. however, she will not even wear it. The dress has a petty coat inside and itches her so much she wants to give it away.... waste of money in item and shipping charges...I do not recommend for any child..
