Family Favorite,

Our entire family loves this book. How can you resist a chicken in a tutu, a magic chicken at that, and a magic pickle? This is such a cute book and we love the fact that it's all about working together to solve a problem (even if it's one you've created yourself). My 3 love it and can identify with the characters. We also love the Revenge of the magic chicken, but alas it is now out of print (check your library).

The Wizard, the Fairy, and the Magic Chicken - very Funny,
By Anne Bird (Santa Clara, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Wizard, the Fairy, and the Magic Chicken (Paperback)
Very funny. My 4 and 6 year old loved it. The characters try to one up each other and it goes awry with the Magic Chicken. It lets the kids figure out a solution to the problem before the Magic chicken and that makes them feel good. It also teaches them some good morals. But mostly it's funny.

A great tale of cooperation,

Lester and Munsinger have created a trio of magicians who conjure up trouble and laughter. The drawings come alive across the page spread, and the moral leaves no doubt that there's more to come

Helen Lester does it again. This book is about a Wizard, a Fairy and a Magic Chicken who are always trying to out do each other's magic. One day they all learn that their magic has gotten them into a terrible predicament. The only way for them to rectify this problem is to work together, since none of any one of their magic will do the trick alone. This is an enjoyable book.

There once lived a wizard, a fairy, and a magic chicken. They argued a lot (indeed, they argued through this whole book), but they were very good friends (so the story says). Of course, they keep on arguing even after they learn that trying to outdo each other only results in three scary scary monsters....

Three magicians get into trouble,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Wizard, the Fairy, and the Magic Chicken (Hardcover)
It's about a chicken, a fairy, and a wizard who are all jealous about each other. They try to show each other who's the best by making monsters, but the monsters ran after them. What will they do?
