4.0 out of 5 stars Good Piece of Gear
I just finished sheetrocking my home office - mostly by myself - plus a little help from the wife. As I was ordering equipment for the job, I saw the Free hands Drywall Supports and thought, "What the heck" and ordered a set (they come 2 to a pack).

Now that I am through the job, I must say they came in quite handy. Good stuff. You are able to screw them...

3.0 out of 5 stars hands free sheetrock holder
for a retired person this does come in real handy. however, with just a bit of thought I could have made one myself.

Now that I am through the job, I must say they came in quite handy. Good stuff. You are able to screw them into the studs and they are able to hold up sheets of sheetrock while you drill them in. I found that I was easily able to hang most of the sheets myself. A very simple device - but very helpful. Money well spent if you are contemplating a one person sheetrock job.

4.0 out of 5 stars If you can't afford any lift, use this., June 25, 2008

Hello:

They work. From reviewing the item, these will get most use in stair ways with the use of a cargo bar. You can use them anywhere, but I'd use a lift where possible and these tabs in hard-to spots, such as stairs. A lift is easier and faster. Or you could use 2x4 cut offs. Worth the money for an extra hand.

Great product, one of those things, you wonder, why? you didn't invent it yourself. For a person that works mainly alone, this is priceless.
