What is it about Hard Rock that makes men want to dress up like women and record catchy rock tracks like “Be a Girl” and “Fast Action Girl”? Well, that’s just something you’ll have to ask Temptress, because that’s exactly what she (he?) is. Combine the straight ahead sex-tinged Heavy Metal of AC/DC, the trashy proto-punk of The Stooges, and the glam of Ziggy-era David Bowie and you might have something like Temptress. Never mind the fact that some people think cross dressers are weird and offensive to some, that’s what punk is all about, right? Doing your own thing and it is obvious that Temptress isn’t trying to fit anybody’s expectations of a rocker. Check it out and remember Guns ‘n Roses had hair like that once too.

Reminds me of my first time at Rocky Horror Picture Show, I knew all the words after the first listening. I saw Temptress in New Orleans, this records stands up to their live show. Overall, the CD is filled with fun party type tunes, I like Pills and Crack the Whip most, some songs are so tongue and cheeck... Same sense of humor as Offspring..
