This book is very nicely done. The popups are nice and I like the added fun sounds (which are not that loud- but if they are annoying theres a battery in the back can be removed) I cant wait to give it to my 4 yr old granddaughter for her bday. She loves (is obsessed with) the wiz of oz and Her mother reads to her and her brother every nite before bed so Im guessing this will become another favorite bedtime read. I dont think you will be disapointed purchasing it. I wasnt

My 4-year-old loves this book. The text is a little lengthy, so I pick and choose which parts to read her, but the pop-ups are really impressive. Every page is beautiful. The one thing i'm not nuts about is that most pages play a sound when you open them (music or the wizard cackling, etc.) and they go on a little too long. Or you'll move it just so and it'll play again. But you can easily remove the battery in the back if it drives you too batty.
