I purchased this for my 7 year old granddaughter. We super glued the ruby slippers to Dorothy's feet because the shoes would not stay on. Otherwise, we felt this was the perfect Dorothy.

I'm not a "Barbie Doll" fan, but Dorothy is quite nice. She does have the red sparkly shoes and if you are a collector, she arrives in a nice sturdy box. This doll is a gift for my 6 yr. old granddaughter and so, I haven't "played" with her, so I can't rate her durability. I think the price was too high, but I guess that's the way of the world, eh?
