I purchased these as a work incentive ("You've always had the power." ). People used them as clips, not cupcake decor. They snapped easily and folks kept asking for more. Thus - good visual, but the joy is short lived.

It's hard to find much Wizard of Oz merchandise that is not collectible quality. I bought these to go onto cupcakes, but they are really bookmarks/paperclips. My kids have also clipped them on to shirt collars, jacket pockets and skirt hems. The plastic is thicker than I thought it would be, so they are fairly sturdy for cupcake picks. My only issue is the price of shipping...which was almost equivalent to the cost of the picks. But, unless you are looking for Disney stuff, it's hard to find other themed party merchandise in local stores.

These cupcake toppers are just perfect as giveaways during my niece birthday party. Serve as a Wizard of Oz decorative item and practically as a paper clip. Im glad I found this item in Amazon.

I wouldn't call the wizard of Oz Ruby Slipper Bookmark Cupcake Picks a toy. So the rating as a toy is not too high. For any Wizard of Oz fan I would recommend them wholeheartedly. They are cute, nostalgic, and takes middle age citizens back to their days as a child. They should never be played with by a child because since they are made of plastic, they would break. I would recommend them for a bookmark or cake decoration.

I ordered these for my daughters 5th birthday party. Her theme was The Wizard of Oz and I was looking for cute cupcake toppers. I made rainbow cupcakes with blue gingham cupcake liners and white icing. These were the perfect finishing touch! They were very durable and the perfect size for the cupcakes. After the party, I had each kid take theirs home with them as part of their party favors. We had extras at home so my daughter has been using them as bookmarks as well. A must have for a Wizard of Oz themed party!

These make really cute paperclips! It adds a "female" touch to my office. They are fun for an older lady who happens to be a Wizard of Oz fan :)

I used these as cupcake picks for a Wizard of Oz party, and also sent them home with the guests as party favors.

They are made from red plastic that has glitter in it, and really helped bring home the theme of the party. They look almost like candy. Lots of fun.

I bought this product to use as a paper clip and page keeper for a book. It is satisfactory, but fragile. Better use is as a novelty in a cupcake..
