Okay, this is a hard one to review. You can't help but like some of this. I won't spoil it by telling you who the guy is in the end (in fact, there is no way to figure it out, its just crazy). But there are a lot of light jokes and some fun fantasy moments. Just don't expect anything to be serious, you can tell the author didn't take his job seriously either. Lin Carter wasn't the best author, but he wrote a few decent ones and a few good ones (check out the world's end series for his good stuff). This one I found readable, if silly. Think: "Another Fine Myth" but not that good.
