5.0 out of 5 stars Challenging but enjoyable, March 21, 2007
This review is from: Make This Wizard's Castle (Usborne Cut-Out Models) (Paperback)
While requiring patience and a steady hand (as well as a craft knife and plenty of work space) this paper castle is a delight to assemble and display. With many rooms and turrets, as well as a 'mountain' on which to display it, this large (around 2 square feet) castle would make an excellent decoration for Halloween or that certain book-release party. The detailing and the presence of 'secret' rooms truely makes this a wizard's castle.

Please note that the mountain requires some extra structure to support the finished castle, but this is something no serious crafter should have a problem with.

4.0 out of 5 stars Wizard's castle, February 8, 2008
This review is from: Make This Wizard's Castle (Usborne Cut-Out Models) (Paperback)
Base of model requires experience, but fits well together. I have wished that paper modelers would create more terrain models for caves, escarpments, passes, and forests. This model also has secret passages and shows the effect of sunlight and moonlight on its assembled structure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice!, January 27, 2010
A Kid's Review
i think this castle is very nice certainly because it has many details and shadows. i kinda like its many secret rooms and different towers and the dragon lair. it took my mom and me five days to glue it together. even though i did not have a craft knife we bent the pieces with a ruler, what we used is just a bottle of glue some scissors.i am in first grade.
