5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful romantic fantasy, May 12, 2002
This review is from: Wizard's Moon (Paperback)
Boaz, Lilith and Jachin were born in Sena, otherwise known as the world of Avalon, but were brought to Earth by their mother who mysteriously vanished. The triplets were separated and brought up by different sets of parents never knowing their magical heritage.

Boaz, accompanied by her best friend Angela, travels to her Aunt Marrion's home where she finally learns the truth about her heritage. Boaz and Angela then journey to Jachin's house and tell him the truth about his past. At first he doesn't believe them but when they journey to Sena to rescue their sister Lilith held hostage by an evil wizard, he is forced to recognize the truth about himself. He also realizes that he loves Angela (who reciprocates the feeling) but he knows that a match between a mundane Earthling and a Sena wizard can never be.

WIZARD'S MOON is a beautiful romantic fantasy, a charming adult fairy tale complete with a handsome hero, a fair damsel and an evil magician. The world of Avalon contains fire breathing dragons and tiny fairies that seem so real readers will call travel agents to book passage to the island. Rebecca Anderson is a talented storyteller who creates characters the audience cherishes.

I, once again, had the pleasure of experiencing one of Ms. Anderson's beautiful gifts. The story itself is compelling, romantic, magical (as all her books are) and properly takes you to different scenes, but what sets this type of book apart from others is the profound ability of the author to think what her readers are thinking. I would have a question regarding one section or scene, and the answer would follow as if she were reading my mind. She doesn't leave any stone unturned so that you will not be frustrated or confused. Add to that her amazing sense of humor toward life and reality and mix that with almost X-rated romance, I found myself laughing at the comments of character's sarcasm while, at the same time, getting hot and bothered at even the thought that two people could have such a connection. You can get lost in her story which is pure genius, but we can also thank Ms Anderson for raising our consciousness. The whole time I was reading it, I saw it as a movie. It could be a combination of Star Wars vs. Harry Potter vs. Bewitched vs. 9 weeks. If I had any connections or clout, I would present this to a director. Someone needs to be aware of this woman's ability. I think it would be a smash hit. Cheers to Rebecca Anderson
