On its own, I'm not completely sure The Wizard's Pen is as good a value at $19.99, but with the inclusion of Mystery PI: The Lottery Ticket, It's safe to say that you will get your money's worth with this bundle.

It's OK -- the first of the Mystery PI series, The Lottery Ticket (included) makes it a decent package deal for those who enjoy hidden-object games.

On its own, I'm not completely sure The Wizard's Pen is as good a value at $19.99, but with the inclusion of Mystery PI: The Lottery Ticket, It's safe to say that you will get your money's worth with this bundle.

The Wizard's Pen is a mix of Hidden Object and Puzzle challenges, but the heart of the game is a mode in which you must guess the object hidden in a blank page while using The Wizard's Pen to reveal as little as possible. Mystery PI is pretty much what you've come to expect from a mystery-type game, so expect mostly hidden object seeking and memory-like puzzles.

The production value for The Wizard's Pen in particular is really nice with crisp, clean visuals and fitting sound effects. The hidden object levels are carefully constructed versus the room-full-of-pixelated-slop presentation of most games in this genre.

I would recommend that anyone interested try the demo for the game first before you buy. I really like PopCap's retail releases, as it enables my whole family to play the game without worrying about licenses and activation.

This game is one with a human aspect in the wizzard's pen doing the writing and the talking sort of speaking. The only thing I found overly challening was the picture puzzle that would disappear when you hit another spot. At least this one you could finish. It moves at your pace.

The Wizard's Pen is a great game. Terrific graphics, a different twist on hidden objects and at the sale price and it also includes Mystery PI, The Lottery Ticket, it's a real bargain. Two great games!

4.0 out of 5 stars At this price, a great buy for all fans of picture searches, November 19, 2010

Both these games are fun to play if you enjoy the hidden object or picture search game genre. Wizard's Pen offers a different take on the search game - instead of a screen with many objects, you have a blank screen with one object you can reveal gradually with clicks of the magic pen. The object is to use as few clicks as possible. There are intermittent "challenges" involving scrambled pictures of single objects and a nice twist on the cluttered picture where instead of finding objects you replace missing parts of objects. One drawback to the game is that it doesn't have a lot of variations, so once you've played it through you won't find a repeat much of a challenge. But one impressive advantage is that it is remarkably intelligent and forgiving of various guesses that may not exactly match the game's label for objects - it takes "sailboat" as the correct answer for "yacht," for instance.

Mystery PI: The Lottery Ticket is (I think) the earliest one of this series. It has fewer levels and only one type of mini-game and, in my opinion, the picture graphics aren't quite as good as later installments in the series. But it is still fun to play and an addition fans of the Mystery P.I. games will want in their collection.

This bundle costs less than a fast food meal bundle, adds no calories to your diet (though it may make you a little more sedentary for a while), and it's fun to play. I recommend it for everyone interested in these games.

When you play wizard pen, its fun at first and differnt, but when you are finshed that's it. no more games to play on this one.I would not buy it for the price that Amzon has and for the shipping, if you want to try it try buying it at half price books for way less!

This game was a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. Not at all what I expected. I found it very boring and didn't even finish the game.
