My 5 year old was looking forward to the Alex Russo magic doll. When she first got it she ripped opened the package and an hour later we were able to get the doll out. You have to love that anti theft packaging.

But thisis about the toy not the package. We followed the directions to every detail and all we had was a soggy doll and no magic changing clothes.

The poor doll is now sitting naked in a corner somewhere never to be played with again.....

I would not buy this it's not worth the money if going to buy a wizards fo waverly doll just get another one that cheaper thats worth it.

I ordered this doll for my daughter's birthday that was coming up. She loves Selena Gomez and I knew she'd love this doll. I am over all satisfied with the doll other than the fact that the clothes are not changing colors like the box says it will. I bought the doll with the claim that it was a new item. It seemed to be in the original packaging with out being tampered, but when my daughter tried to use warm water to change the clothes it did not work. She is still very happy to have the doll and will play with it for a long time. I might be a little more disappointed than her. We plan to buy barbie clothes for it to let her change the clothes. I ordered the shipping to be fast and was surprised that I receieved the item a day later than another product I had ordered to be delieverd regular mail. I am happy however that it did arrive by Saturday before her birthday on Monday so that I could give it to her now and not wait until Christmas.
