Selena Gomez is a cute, talented actress. As a pop singer, she is... OK, nothing remarkable, but not bad. Better than Hillary Duff, but nowhere near Miley Cyrus. But no matter, I'm not giving this 2 stars because of Selena's vocal skills. My real issue with this CD is the way that, once again, Disney has trotted out a CD with just a few new songs and filled the rest with rehashed material. Even the Wizards of Waverly Place theme song was just released as part of the Disney Playlist! And on top of the annoying habit of issuing a CD that is 75% fillers and songs that have already been on other CDs (sometimes four or five other CDs!), Disney has once again OMITTED a song that should have been included! I am talking about 'Make It Happen', the original duet with Selena and co-star David Henrie that was performed in an actual episode. WHY include an old Aly & AJ song, for example, yet leave off an actual track from the TV show? Isn't this supposed to be a soundtrack -- meaning songs FROM the show -- not a collection of songs with a magic theme? Leaving that song out, when there is so much other unnecessary fluff included instead, is truly inexcusable. We won't be buying this one, just downloading the very few new songs.

I read the reviews, thank you all, before I bought the MP3 Album download. Yes, there are a lot of remakes of songs. However, they are good songs, and well done. Selena Gomez covers the song "Magic" ever bit as well as Olivia Newton-John. That is high praise from my generation.

There was a TV Series and group in the 60s called The Monkeys. They were criticized for being a commercial venture. Still they were good. My girlfriend, now my wife, hard to watch it every week. They dominated the charts for a long time. This WOWP CD is also a commercial project, yet well done.

My granddaughter introduced me to WOMP. We watch it whenever she visits. The show is original, and the music is an appropriate collection. It is a new combination of songs and artists. Not everything has to be a original composition.

Anyway, that is my two cents. I like the album.

This is a Great soundtrack from a Great tv show and movie! All of the songs sound amazing. The only complaint is that all of the artwork is focused on Selena Gomez. Don't get me wrong, I think she has a great voice and is very talented but I think there could have been more than 1 picture of the whole cast. Other than that I recommend you pick this up if you like the show and movie.

My child enjoys this cd. Most of the tunes are re makes of classic songs, so they are familiar to old mom.
What else is there to say? It's well done, a bit over produced and generic, but fun and bouncy for the kids. If your child enjoys the music on the Disney channel shows, they will like the cd.

My little girl (6) loves this cd. I had fun recognizing all of the old songs that the kids have redone. It's a really fun and upbeat cd.

The new Selena Gomez tracks on this album are so good. I had no idea that she is such a good singer. I loves discovering the new bands and artists on this record like KSM and Mitchel Musso. All of the songs were fun, especially the covers of familiar songs like 'Do you Believe in Magic?' and 'Magic'. Great upbeat summer fun album!

Everyone enjoyed listening to this cd including 10 & 15 yo girls and 18 yo son. Upbeat and catchy. Can't help from loving the music on the cd. Thanks for good music to listen.

I bought this for my 6 year old grand daughter and she "LOVES" it!

The kids LOVE Wizards of Waverly Place. This is putting it mildly. This CD gets put on repeat so much that I find myself singing the theme song days after. It's a good thing it's cute music or i'd rip my hair out.

Im so angry I can't get make it happen but if i get it from mediafire it will fail in an hour and be all CPU cant find song omg leave out theme song and the other crap. sorry im lazy not typing good right now.
