the picture shows these things as one solid color, but if you look closely, they're no different than other gloves... the fingers are a different color than the rest of the glove. It's not really a pro or a con, just wanted to note that. Also, everyone's complaining about warmth, and they're really not that bad. I'm used to those 50 cent ones you get at walmart, and they're warmer than that for sure. The fingers are pretty tight, probably mostly due to the fact they're new. I like it, they are more form fitting, but might be a little frustrating for a bigger hand/fingers. Slightly itchy too, but nothing to make or break a decision to buy em.

Pros:
1. form fitting
2. comfortably warm, they're not meant to be snow mittens
3. good dark color
4. the main reason for buying them... they work to use my touchscreen phone

Cons:
1. oddly colored fingertips is a little weird, but more importantly screams "HEY I HAVE A TOUCHSCREEN PHONE" (Steal from me...)
2. doesn't give a constant contact with the phone, so if you're unlocking it with a sliding motion, it can be read as two gestures, which is really annoying and defeats the purpose
3. A bit itchy

I'm unsure whether to put price as a pro or con.. it's not too badly priced, but for a glorified pair of dollar gloves, it's a little frustrating they're 15ish bucks, but I can understand why.. they have freaking silver in them!

Hope the review helps! I ended up buying them, and am happy with them.

I was hoping based on the picture that these gloves would come up on the wrist a little, but unfortunately not. The S/M is pretty snug and just barely makes it to my wrist, so there is a gap between the cuff of my coat and my glove. They do work on my phone though and that is awesome, but I'm not sure they are worth the price I paid, based on the lack of generosity with the material.

Capacitative....yes. Well constructed...no. The gloves work on the iPhone but they are very lightweight and already have holes at the base of the thumbs. Keep looking.

The gloves fit nice and snug but were not very well texting on a blackberry or any small key phones.

gloves are a bit touchy as to where the screen works with the finger tips. These are much better than regular gloves so there was an improvement there. These are very warm and have made my winter weather with use of my touch screen much improved overall!

Don't dismiss them right away as not working to get a response from your iPhone. I didn't realize for some time (after giving up & using them just as gloves) that they actually do work on the screen if you push down hard enough. It's still kind of hard to get the right little spots to respond (like texting with phone held vertically), but what can you expect of gloves that will inevitably be larger than your finger?

Gloves look nice & are pretty good quality. Perfectly warm, snug, & conforms well to hand for dexterity in normal tasks.

The gloves work good with the cellphone, even to send messages... but they are not that hot... at least not bellow 41F...
