Woke Up Falling's new album is absolutely astounding. I was knocked over by their moody Cure meets Sunny Day Real Estate sound. Gordie Muscutt's passionate scream will haunt your dreams. Songs like "Whisper Defeat" and "Fake Your Death" harness the pain and regret we all feel and channel them into sonic bliss. Woke Up Falling sounds like an old friend who has been where you hurt the most. A most cathartic experience.
