Great Value
I'm surprised how often this gizmo comes in handy. If you already own the pole for tree trimming, this is great for Christmas lights! Makes a great gift item for someone who already has the pole too.

Valuable add-on for tree trimming
When trimming trees - especially near the house - this little device has been a very handy aid in directing the fall of branches. I can hook a branch and pull while someone else operates the saw. It is of greatest value combined with the telescoping 157" handle. The real issue with it is cost. Is it really worth what you have to pay for it to make it useful? Time will...

Use for Christams lights in Winter,

I use this for hanging Christmas lights in our trees along with the WOLF Garden extendable handle. It works great and takes the hassle out of making sure the lights stay on the pole and go where I want them to. The ytree hookmakes a frustrating Christmas chore easier.

But for now, all I can say is that it gives me a simple, easy-to-use solution for trimming branches without taking huge chances of them going through a window.
