Although his former bosses forbid him to seek revenge, Gallagher is obsessed with finding the person responsible for Lauren's murder, whom he is convinced can only be Inge Schonbronn, one of the gang of hijackers. Following Schonbronn's trail to Africa, Gallagher uncovers a frightening scheme with nuclear implications. Savarin is occasionally authoritative on the espionage game, his dialogue is taut but the narrative lags somewhat in suspense.

I have read as many Gordon Gallagher thrillers as I can possibly get my hands on. These books are great! Every friend that I let borrow one of these thrillers, written by Julian Jay Savarin, has become as addicted as I am. I would surely recomend Wolf Run, and challenge you not to hunt for more from the series once finished with it.

This carries on a couple of months after Waterhole. Everything is going great for Gordon then the love of his life is assassinated along with the rest of the hostages that escaped. Bent on revenge he goes after the killers including the sole surving hijacker which eventually leads him into africa and a race to stop South Africa being nuked by an arms company.
