I saw them in concert and they put on a great show despite the poor turn-out ( in freezing weather on a Wednesday night in Western Mass. Not a good combo). They are great performers and their CD is haunting and weird. I love it, but I recognize that it is a bit off-beat. Still, they are definitely worth it, if only for their lyrics that are so strange that sometimes you do a double take....one of my personal favorites: "I will hire an assasin just to kill the time." Check them out! The organ is so cool!

Absolutely one of the hottest new bands in the last couple of years. End-of-the-world mod, gorgeous organ, snappy lyrics, and a world of charisma.

"wolf songs" is by far the catchiest, most 'complete' sounding thing jf*e has released. unlike the lethargic music and coarse lyrics of their early stuff this album takes up where "tremble under boomlights" left off, stepping everything up twofold. instantly catchy yet after a while it loses some of its glamor.
